My name is Nele Demeulenaere. I’m from Belgium, a country of chocolate, waffles and so much more. Nine years ago my family and I arrived in Sofia.
2.What is your prior business background or education?
Master in the Physiotherapy.
3.What type of real estate or area of Sofia is your specialty?
Everything; everywhere in Sofia
4.How long have you been working in the Sofia real estate industry?
Since a long time; but here in Sofia since October 2019. Real estate for me feels more as a hobby than as work. I honestly love my job.
5.What in your option is the most exciting thing about real estate in Sofia?
One of the aspects that attracts me about this job is the social aspect: doing my best to please my clients. These clients can be investors, sellers, buyers, tenants, etc. My working field varies from houses to apartments, offices, land and much more.
6.What is the best piece of advice you can give to clients?
I work pro-active: this means that my aim is to search till I find what my client is looking for over the whole Bulgarian market. See me as your personal real estate agent. I explain to my clients that there are only 3 main pilars in real estate and these are location, location and location.
Sofia is a beautiful city with many nationalities. The city is hip, cool, cosy and has a delicious Bulgarian cuisine! There are so many great restaurants and bars and places to explore.
I would love to be the one who can convince you to call Sofia your temporary or permanent ‘home’!
7.Recommend a restaurant to our readers?
‘Chefs’ in Sense hotel. You can start your evening to the roof top bar to have a nice aperitif; finger food and then you go down stairs to enjoy a lovely meal in the Restaurant, Chefs. In summer time, they have a lovely terrace.
The food is delicious, international.
Service is very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is not so cheap; scoring from 1 to 5; it will go to 4. You should go and try!
